High and Low - for Lori Goldston

A rare and special print from Simon Fowler.

Commissioned for Lori Goldston's album High and Low (released October 2022 on Sofaburn Records)

This is a limited edition hand burnished large Lino cut, printed on Masa washi in a hand mixed shade of purple-ish blue features a parliament of crows dancing amongst the limbs of and aged oak, strung like a harp to the ground. Some sort of spell cast by the pluck pluck pluck of the strings, dark resonance emits heat energy and combustion results.

The image came into being as a result of listening to Lori's recording and her generosity in letting me see where it could go.
